About Me

I'm a Junior Computer Science student at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. I have a wonderful fiancée, Joelle, who I adore. We're getting married in July of next year and I'm very excited about it! My interests center around computer related topics with an emphasis on web technologies and networking. For more, see my About Me page.

24 September 2007 - 7:18pmWhat a good weekend

Joelle came to visit me this weekend!  We didn’t do anything too exciting, but we still really enjoy spending time together, even if we’re just playing a game on the computer or watching TV.

And yay for another week of classes!  (Could you sense the sarcasm?)  Along with the occasional piece of schoolwork, I’m trying to make headway on my NTP project for COSI.  So far, I’ve installed the ntp packages on my Debian-based server but can’t seem to get it to do anything productive.  One thing I’ve noticed… the ntpdate binary (which is supposed to be included in the ntp package) doesn’t seem to be there anywhere.  Anyone have any ideas?  I think I’m going to get a Redhat-based server set up and give it a shot there (I’m not a huge Debian fan).  Keep track of my progress here.

One more thing… if you’re reading my blog, and I don’t know it, post a comment and let me know what you think.  It would be encouraging to know how many people are actually looking at this thing.
